The ‘Grey city’ as it known, is Scotland’s third largest city and also nicknamed the ‘Oil Capital of Europe.’  Aside from being the educational centre of the North East, it also has one of the busiest heliports in the world.  Unfortunately WhipCar don’t rent Aberdeen helicopters, but we do arrange easy, convenient, quick and cheap car hire in Aberdeen and offer advice on how to make the most of your Aberdeen rental car.

When you have arranged to rent a car in Aberdeen, you’ll quickly realise why it’s called the Silver city, with its abundant granite buildings along Union Street and Castle Street.  Notable landmarks as you drive past in your Aberdeen rental car include the National Bank of Scotland, the Town and County Bank and Marischal College (the 2nd largest granite building in the world!).   Head in your rental car to the Aberdeen Maritime Museum or the Marischal Museum, the fabulous sandy Aberdeen Beach with turquoise water (depends on the day) or the stunning Union Terrace Gardens and Duthie Park Winter Gardens.  Someone even suggested arranging Aberdeen car hire to drive to Aberdeen Airport to fly elsewhere...but why would you when you’re in the silver city of the North?
